Redmi Note 7 Pro is one of the best smartphone one can buy under INR 15,000. It is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and it do comes with a Dual Rear camera setup equipped with Sony’s IMX 586 sensor that is capable to produce some excellent photos.

Unlocking a bootloader allows us to install a custom recovery like twrp that can be used to flash custom zips, firmwares and patches either available online or build by developers to spice up your phone with additional functions that might be absent from your stock/factory firmware. So let’s just start the process step by step.

*Technoister is not responsible for any damage to your device by doing the process to unlock the bootloader, if you are a complete newbie then I would suggest to not indulge in the process and take the help of an experienced geek*

  1. Proper ADB Drivers installed on a Windows based computer.
  2. Install Xiaomi Drivers – most important as fastboot drivers were not working properly in my case without these drivers.
  3. In case Xiaomi drivers fails to load then I request you to disable driver signature enforcement.
  4. A Windows based computer.
  5. Original Xiaomi USB cable.
  6. Redmi Note 7 PRO….isn’t it obvious? :P.

Charge your phone’s battery to a sufficient level in order to avoid sudden shutdown during the unlocking process.

If no driver working for you then you might try the list available at Xiaomi Advices.
